YOUTH
Youth Ministry As our children grow and develop into those “tween” and older teen years, St. John offers continued opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with God and with one another.
- The Middle School Youth meet at 5:30 pm each Sunday evening in room 160. Except during the Summer months, the Youth meet on Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 pm.
- The High School Youth meet at 7:00 pm each Sunday evening in room 160. Except during the Summer months, the Youth meet on Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 pm.
- Confirmation Classes (6th grade and up) are offered each year, usually between the months of February through May.
In addition, the youth have an opportunity to participate in mission and service projects, trips, parties, lock-ins, and District/Annual Conference Camps and Retreats throughout the year.

Opportunities to Serve
Hello and thank you for visiting our website – a tool for us to go beyond our church walls and introduce people to Jesus. Take a look at the many opportunities each of us have to grow as disciples together and consider getting involved. Even if you don’t serve in a particular area of this ministry, please support us with your prayers.
Please come join us this Sunday. We worship at 8:30 and 11:00 am, with Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 am. We would love to see you and share in your journey. God Bless you!
Chaperone
1) Accompany the Youth group and help on a work-team/mission project
2) Assist the Youth Pastor/Director by chaperoning special events at church and off site.
3) On a rotating schedule will help chaperone Sunday Youth meetings.
Prayer Team
Weekly email the Youth and pledge to pray specifically for them.
Volunteers for Weekly Events
1) To work as Crowd Control; on a rotating schedule will help chaperone Sunday Youth meetings.
2) Provide snacks for Youth meetings.
Transportation
Drive Youth to off-site events.
